Induction / Air Filter / MAF
TTDA Air Filter |
||
TTDA stands for 'Twin Tube Dynamic Airbox'. This is
a custom made, hand-built air filter. It consists of a K&N air filter
inside a heat resistant housing. It is available in different colours and
materials. Highly recommended... you can take my word for it, I've been
through quite a few air filter kits.

High Quality Aircraft Grade Neoprene Hose |
|
This is the best material I've found so far to use on any induction kit. It has great qualities such as heat resistance and a spring like nature which helps when using it in awkward areas in the car. It's a great compliment to the above TTDA air filter and is also supplied by the same person. |
MOFO Mass Air Flow Meter |
|
MOFO Stand for 'Mass Oxygen Flow Optimiser'. This is a custom made, hand-built Mass Air Flow Meter (MAF) Housing. It consists of only the outer metal housing and all necessary parts to fit the sensor part from the original MAF. The inner diameter on the MOFO has been increased by 0.15 inch; this has resulted in the inner surface area increasing by more than 11%. An increase in surface area will cause an increase in air volume thus more power. In order to truly benefit from this modification, a full remap is advised. In order to compensate for the increase in MAF size, I had to replace the original 3bar Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) with a 4bar FPR (seen below)

ABD Big Bore Air Intake |
"Originally,
cars are equipped with an undersized plastic or flexible rubber intake
tube. ABD Racing Big Bore Intakes are constructed from an oversized
3" stainless steel tubing that is mandrel bent and then powder coated
bright silver to perfection for an increase in air flow into your throttle
body. Theoretically, more air equals better performance, and this is the
case with the ABD Racing replacement intake system. As mentioned
previously, all parts are mandrel bent to ensure a non-disturbed flow of
air that cut & welded parts cannot match."
