OEM Haldex Information

The OEM and Aftermarket Haldex Controllers have a tendency to deactivate themselves from time to time due to one of many reasons. It could be as simple as a loose plug or oil change or something more sinister.

I have had many problems with the 4WD on my car and have come across many other people with similar problems. It's a real shame having a 4Motion or R32 and not being able to use the 4WD on them.

This page is full of information I have picked up while trying to fix the never-ending problem of the 4WD. I hope it helps you guys out as much as it's helped me... good luck!

The Haldex Sensors

The Haldex System uses 6 main sensors to make sure everything's ok. If any of these sensors are faulty or give a reading outside the correct range; the 4WD will de-activate and you'll only be running a 2WD car.
