Fitting Gearknob

1- Pull up the leather gator which will expose a brass coloured ring. It has been tightened to hold the OEM gearknob in place. You will need to break this. If you look carefully at the picture you will notice the ring has a notch sticking out of it, it's easier to break it from there.

2- Once the brass coloured ring is broken, simply slide up the old gearknob and replace it with the new one. If the new one doesn't have a new ring (like the one you broke), you will need to get one. After sliding the new gearknob on, tighten the ring in place (just as it was with the standard).

3- Sit back and enjoy your work.
